Forsvaret had introduced a new visual identity and was redesigning their career platform. I joined the project midway, when the solution needed validation and preparation for handover to an external development team.

The Figma file was not ready for that.

Before anything could be built, I reorganised the entire file structure. Components were cleaned up, states were completed, inconsistencies were resolved, and missing interaction cases were defined. The goal was simple: developers should be able to work without guessing.

Alongside validating the existing design, I reviewed accessibility requirements: refining interaction states, contrast, keyboard navigation, and predictable behaviour to meet WCAG standards.

I also prepared a few new features and aligned them with the updated structure.

The work wasn’t about reinventing the concept. It was about making it build-ready, accessible, and structured enough to hand over with confidence.
